faces

These are quick monoprints done in the last few weeks of printmaking class.  Since high school, I’ve always drawn faces, which appeared either angry or bored, and it isn’t intentional…  I‘m a pretty happy person, so what I draw doesn’t always represent what I feel.  Extreme emotions of anger, sadness, joy, are all fascinating to try and mimic, and I guess emotions of anguish seems more interesting to me than a happy face.
