A lost generation

In the NYTimes, there was an article about the inadequately constructed schools of Dujiagyan.  The inequality in construction between the elite and working class schools determined the fate of many children during the earthquake.  The heartbreaking comments of parents and their hopes and sacrifices for their children’s futures are what struck me the most.
